This season, the Washington & Jefferson College women's lacrosse give-back game will honor Morgan's Message, a foundation committed to breaking the mental health stigma amongst student-athletes.
In lieu of a Senior Day, we will dedicate our Saturday, April 24th game against Waynesburg University to Morgan's Message in honor of Duke University lacrosse player, Morgan Rodgers, who passed away in 2019.
We join Morgan's Message and pledge to "take a shot at mental health" by spreading awareness and continuing the fight to break the mental health stigma. As an organization, Morgan’s Message strives to support the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics. In addition, their efforts continue to provide a platform for advocacy, which is why we felt driven to participate.
All proceeds gained from our campaign will directly benefit the Morgan's Message foundation. To learn more, please visit the Morgan's Message website.
