Most of you know the story of my mother in law, Wanda Tarchala, so I am not going to give a long back story detailing her medical battles over the past decade. However, I am going to explain why we decided to make this fundraiser. On October 25th 2014 I gave birth to my daughter Emilia and at just minutes old she was placed in the arms of her Babcia. And from that moment on the two of them have had a bond like nothing I have ever seen. In her four short trips around the sun, Emilia has been there for the ups and downs of Wanda's journey. She had even decided at at just two years old that she was going to be a doctor. Most four year olds would be asking for the latest toy, but Emilia only wanted two things: a bouncy house, and for Babcia to get better.
With the help of the research from this organization, Wanda has been given time that we did not know that we would ever have. So today we ask for help to keep their research going so that another little girl won't have to watch their own loved one suffer- in short, in lieu of presents we are asking for donations.
