We all remember our first bike and that's a memory no child should go without.
Founded in 2005, Wish for Wheels believes that the gift of a new bike and helmet has the power to transform the lives of 2nd graders from low-income communities, broadening their scope for personal growth and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Since the beginning, Wish for Wheels has served more than 50,000 children and 100,000 people through community involvement.
With the current state of affairs, and restrictions in place with COVID-19 many are feeling a pull to serve in their community. Biking is an excellent way to get out of the house while maintaining appropriate social distancing! Here at Wish for Wheels, we are working hard to continue our mission, but we need your help.
Over the next four months, We plan to bring this opportunity to as many schools and districts as possible. Our current goal is to give a bike / helmet to 45 first graders at Sherrelwood Elementary in Westminster, CO.
