COVID-19 has placed many of our community neighbors in great financial need. Some have been furloughed by their employers; many have lost their jobs; others are facing health challenges. In addition to our long-established food pantry, Winters Chapel UMC feels called to provide rent and financial assistance to our neighbors in need, especially to those who are facing eviction with the ending of the Georgia Supreme Court stay on evictions due to coronavirus. The ability for such a small church to respond to such a large need is a testament to the generous hearts of its members and the ability to show God's love to this diverse community without hesitation. We invite you to join us.
Our goal is to raise $5,000, but we hope to surpass it with your generosity and concern! After we receive donations, we will begin taking requests for financial help with first priority given to those in our community who are facing eviction.
Help us make a difference. Thank you!
