Wings for Wildlife Project
Wings for Wildlife is a project launched by United Airlines pilots, Mike Paredes and Nancy Law with Dazzle Africa to keep wildlife in Zambia safe from poachers. Wings for Wildlife provides operational funding for this Cessna 180 aircraft which is shared between our two conservation partners, Conservation South Luangwa and Zambian Carnivore Programme. This is the only aircraft in the South Luangwa Valley of Zambia used for anti-poaching and large carnivore research and is critical to conservation efforts. Your donations positively impact law enforcement effectiveness, scientific research, monitoring of wildlife, a decrease in poaching, navigation during the wet season, data collection, habitat surveying and more.
The South Luangwa Valley of eastern Zambia is a world-renowned wilderness area approximately 80,000 sq.km. and has one of the highest historical densities of ELEPHANTS in Africa today. There are also additional important keystone species such as lion, endangered wild dog, leopard, giraffe and others.
We are able to achieve our goals through support from our passionate members, and our focus on partnering with local organizations with long term proven results. These are organizations with consistent successful programs and quantifiable results. They are the area experts, and with our members help, we support them to grow and win exponentially.
100% of your donation will help fund our the Cessna 180 airplane, which is crucial to our anti-poaching and conservation efforts!
