Be a "Shoe Guy" they said.... I'm more about boots, I told them. Well, it's not about YOUR feet, they said... hmmm (they are women, of course).
My wife wants to see me on the catwalk. If I raise the most of all these so called "Shoe Guys" that's what she'll get. So if you want my wife to be happy I might offer a suggestion! If you don't necessarily want her to be happy just be an awesome person and contribute anyway!

Wine Women & Shoes is a fantastic and glamorous event that pairs shopping for fashion and beauty items with a breathtaking fashion show, savory wines, delightful foods, an outstanding live and silent auction, handsome shoe guys and gorgeous shoe gals, and emotional stories by survivors of domestic violence.
The Big Story is below:
All money raised by our generous Shoe Guys and Gals on these pages and at the event helps A Safe Place continue to provide life saving programs and services for victims of domestic violence and their children as they transform their lives.
Wine Women & Shoes takes place on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5:30-10:00pm at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort.
Because domestic violence is in your community.
1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will experience rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner at some point in their lifetimes. That is over 117,000 women and 87,000 men in Lake County alone. 1 in 15 children are exposed to domestic violence each year, that is 60,700 children in Lake County.
A Safe Place is Lake County’s sole provider of services exclusively addressing domestic violence. Each year, A Safe Place impacts over 15,000 lives. Lives that seek out safety in our emergency shelter, join a support group and learn about self-care, visit with their children in a monitored environment, seek out orders of protection in court, or learn about healthy relationships in their classrooms or businesses. Through our programs and services, we walk hand-in-hand with victims on every step of their healing journey. And, as a result, 94% of the clients that leave our emergency shelter do not return to their abusers.
