As some of you may know, every year I dust off the old singlet and wrestling shoes to compete in a charity tournament hosted by Beat the Streets NY. BTS works in intercity neighborhoods across the US to encourage kids from low income families to participate in the sport of wrestling. They offer free equipment and high level wrestling training. The hope is to give these kids structure through wrestling, and to give them the opportunity to use wrestling as a tool of advancement. Without wrestling I would have never received the caliber of education I was blessed to have. Wrestling opened up so many doors for me, and beat the streets is hoping to do the same for kids all across the US. In order to help their mission, I am raising money to support future wrestlers along their journey. If you could be so kind, please help me reach my donation goal by using this link. The tournament is on March 17th in Brooklyn if anyone is interested in spectating or wrestling in the event! If you are donating, please select my name when choosing a team member. Thank you for your support!
