Help us continue to rescue wildlife during this time of need.
Every day, our committed employees work to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wild animals in Costa Rica, one of the most biodiverse areas of the world. Now, the animals need your help more than normal. Our organization is committed to ensuring that we give the best quality of care to the animals arriving in our clinic and throughout their healing process. This takes a quality team and quality supplies.
We typically rely on daily tours to fund our sanctuary and daily operations. We have been closed since March 16th, and as a non-profit relying on tourism and these tours, we are in need of extra support. Our priority is the animals and we really need to purchase medications and supplies so they can get proper treatment upon arrival. We have been doing our best to remain positive, and are hoping for the best, but are realistic in our needs as well.
MINAE, a government agency that does not fund us, but supports the rules and laws regarding wildlife in Costa Rica, brings us animals needing help almost daily. The reasons could be from being hit by a car, orphaned young found alone, or an injury we don't know the cause. These animals often need intensive care initially, and then gradually get placed in other enclosures as they heal and get closer to their release.
In order to continue this work, we kindly ask that you join us in supporting wildlife and their journey back into the wild, strong and healthy. Your gift will help provide immediate financial support so we can purchase essential medicines and other supplies to rehabiliate animals. Help keep our clinic functioning so we can continue to aid injured or orphaned animals so they can live a long and fulfilled life in the wild.
