Before finding Wilderness Torah, I was largely cut off and disconnected from my roots. Some force inside drew me to this organization that is getting people back out into nature, connecting Jews with the roots of the traditions passed down through the generations, and reinvigorating the traditions with new life that is grounded in ancient wisdom.
Something was kindled inside me, and through my immersion in the Wilderness Torah community, I began a journey of mending what was broken in my ancestral lineages, healing the wounds of the past, and reconnecting with a heritage I hadn't been aware that my heart and soul were so deeply yearning to reunite with. Wilderness Torah sparked and facilitated that reunion.
