The YMCA has been a huge part of life, starting in elementary school growing up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and continuing as an adult living in New York City.
As a community, non profit charitable organization, the Y welcomes everyone, regardless of their financial status. That is the reason I dedicate my time and resources to support the YMCA. As a community organization that empowers youth, improves health, and strengthens the community. Upper West Side Y in New York City offers inclusionary housing, after school programs, teen career leadership and mentor programs for high school seniors, Pre-K, family services, and many recreational, developmental and educational programs.
EMPOWER YOUTH: 400,000 kids in NYC are put on a path to success - including high school graduation and college and career placement
IMPROVE HEALTH: 1.3 million New Yorkers improve their health - learning life long skills for healthy living and enrolled in evidence-based prvenention and disease management programs administered by the Y
STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY - 2.2 million New Yorkers connected to and engaged in the community - New Yorkers engage with their communities through Y opportunities and report a greater sense of belonging. The Y will protect and campaign access opportunity for all.
Please join me in supporting the YMCA and help provide youth and adults of all walks of life the opportunity to develop new skills, friendships, the support they might need through family and youth services, or simply to maintain a healthy
