We are so excited to announce Lancaster Farm Sanctuary is moving to a much-needed bigger farm in June! Although the new location is only two miles away from our existing home in Elizabethtown, the new property has almost five times the pasture space. This larger farm will provide more land for the rescued animals to eat, sleep, graze, and congregate. It will allow us to rescue many more abused and neglected farmed animals and be of better service to area police, Lancaster County residents, and Good Samaritans who find farm animals in “life or death” situations.
To get this new space ready, we must build shelters, including a new barn, for our rescued residents! We must also construct fencing to keep them safe. These projects cost a total of $120,000. This is a huge project for Lancaster Farm Sanctuary and our biggest fundraiser ever! We hope you share our excitement about the larger sanctuary and our ability to care for more farmed animals than ever before.
