Cancer patients are one of the highest at-risk groups impacted by COVID-19. Beyond that, they may be dealing with loneliness, changes in treatment plans and more. They need our support. The American Cancer Society is asking everyone for their support of cancer patients and survivors across Indiana during our Weekend of Hope May 2-3, 2020. Support cancer patients by texting HOPE to 20222 to make a $10 donation.
Hope isn't cancelled, so let’s come together #INHope and show cancer patients we stand with them, even when we’re apart.
Here's how to participate:
· Check out the ideas below on how to participate
· Do an activity in support of cancer patients
· Take a photo
· Share your activity on Social Media with the #INHope
· Make a donation and tag friends to join you
What can you do to support Weekend of Hope?
Create a sidewalk chalk drawing | Paint or draw a picture | Decorate your fence or yard | Go for a run or walk and attach a sign that tells people why you are running | Walk your dog and put #INHope on a bandana | Fly a kite | Make your own luminaria and put it in your yard |
Or make something completely unique up and share your idea with us! Just make sure you tag your photo with #INHope and tag some friends to participate.
