Goldie Grady who works with me at Crow Haven Corner told me about this poor dog. I had him rushed to Mass Vet. She truly thought Freckles would be euthanized right away. However we got the call from Doctor Beth Isenberg who said, "We're going to do as much as we can to avoid euthanizing this dog."
She and her medical assistant Rebecca Waugaman worked with him for three days. He has infections, skin lesions, urinary track infections, masses that have to be removed, and needs his ear amputated. I want to thank every doctor at Mass Vet. They have really taken him off death's row.
They are are working as a team and we now are working as a team to support him. When I visited Freckles he knew I had helped save him and he put his little head up and followed me to the next room. He knew we were here to save him and that is truly a gift from above.
We will give you an update every day on this beautiful dog. Warning the pictures of poor Freckles below are graphic.
With your help we will pay for his surgery and future medical needs, so he can recover and live a happy life.
