Dear Friends and Supporters,
Almost 50 years ago, St. Elmo Village was founded with the vision to create a space for all people to explore and develop their creativity. We did it with the support of the community and through generous donations from people like you.
Next Spring, we are excited to be commemorating our Golden Anniversary of Creative Survival! We look forward to celebrating our enduring commitment to make art and creativity accessible to all by organizing a 3-day block party featuring live music, vendors, food trucks, and more in May of 2019!
We’re happy to announce that the Herb Alpert Foundation has committed an incredible donation of $25,000 towards our 50th Anniversary Celebration. Herb Alpert—formerly one half of A&M Records—was a significant part of our community from the beginning and continues to support the Village’s message to this day.
The Foundation has also challenged us to match their donation with personal and community contributions by the end of the year- we’re thrilled to accept it! Our goal is to match their generous contribution by raising $25,000 by December 31, 2018. We can’t do this without you! If you have the means, please consider making a donation towards our milestone anniversary celebration by using the button below or by check. Every bit counts, small or big! All donations are tax-deductible.
If you are unable to make a fiscal donation at this time, we still need your help! You can support the Village by helping spread the word about our fundraiser to commemorate our 50th Anniversary by forwarding this email to your network. We appreciate your contribution as we continue our mission to provide free art services and culturally rich events to the public. Thank you in advance for your support!
