The Good Shephard Clinic is now open. The local king and his entourage recently visited and were very pleased. This week they will be announcing to the community that they are open. Please see the powerful recent testimony of a lady brought to them who was in a coma in the last update.
It gives us great joy to report about what is happening at the Good Shepherd
Clinic at Mpatasie.
Recently a taxi stopped at the clinic. Inside the taxi, was the driver, 2 women and
their relative also a woman, who was invalid. When the clinic staff went to check on the
condition of the invalid woman they realized she was in coma.
This is the woman Deborah Amoafowaa and the Pulse Oximeter we do not have.
They quickly took her in a wheel chair to the doctor on duty. They gave her
necessary help which included drip, injections etc. Being the first of such a case in this town
in the history of the clinic, much supervision, care and of course prayer went unto the heavenlies.
After about 3 hours the doctor in charge said that she needed to be referred to
A1 Hospital. Because our clinic did not have a monitory machine called Pulse Oximetry.
We drove her in our little vehicle and in about 50 minutes we arrived at A1 Hospital which is owned by
One of the reputed doctors we are friends with.
After about 4 days we followed her up at A1 Hospital to find out that the women have fully recovered.
She was full of praise to God and thanked us.
Thank God for calling us to help save precious lives.
The Good Shepherd Clinic is the beginning of a journey to provide needed care in the area of Mpatasie, Ghana. This clinic is part of the Waves of Glory Foundation. www.wogmin.com - Founder Rev. Kwasi Appiah, Kumasi, Ghana.
The Clinic started in 2017 to further the vision of opening The Good Shepherd Hospital. In 2019 the Clinic temporarily closed to go through the process of certification in which we were successful. As a certified clinic we will be able to receive National Health Insurance from our patients to underwrite our operating expenses.
After our recent certification we want to open at a higher level of service with 24/7 care. To do so our reopening budget is $50,000, of which $33,000 has already been received. A detailed list of supplies, equipment, and medicines has been provided for the remaining $17,000. Our desired target date to reopen at this new level of service is the first quarter of 2020.
Please consider giving toward this new next step of serving, reaching, and ministering through this medical clinic.
