Please join me in supporting the Water For People charity for the 2020 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon! Water For People is a global nonprofit that exists to promote the development of high-quality accessible drinking water and sanitation services sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments. The average person in developing countries dedicates hours of their day just collecting water, most of them women and children. On March 15th, the Water For People team will mimic the hours required to collect water by running for hours to support projects that will bring safe and sanitary water to developing countries. To date Water For People has provided 3.6 million people with reliable water services
The 2020 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon will be my first half marathon and what better place to run than in NYC! Runners will begin their journey in Prospect Park before taking the race onto Brooklyn’s streets. For the third year in a row, the course will take runners over the Manhattan Bridge and up the FDR Drive before a cross town dash on 42nd Street and a turn north on 7th Avenue, through Times Square, and into Central Park. The route finishes just north of Tavern on the Green.
Please consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal in support of Water For People. As always, any amount big or small is appreciated. Thanks!
