Water for Guinea

1/3 of the people in Guinea drink unsafe water. That’s 4 million people. Unsafe water is the main reason that Guinea has one of the highest mortality rates for children under the age of five.

There’s a simple solution. UNICEF’s manual-drilling technology through its Water for Guinea Project has changed the lives of 83,000 people in rural Guinea. More than 120 wells have been drilled so far. But the program can do so much more.

Help provide safe water to 210,000 more people by 2022.

Your donation will save children’s lives, provide jobs for the community and deliver life-changing safe water to 34 municipalities in the regions of N’Zérékoré and Labé, Guinea.
