Walk a Mile in Their Shoes 2019

Thank you for stepping up and speaking out against domestic violence at Walk a Mile in Their Shoes 2019! We hope you were inspired by the hundreds of walkers, learned more about the issue of domestic violence in our community, and enjoyed your time with friends and colleagues.

Together, we raised critical funds for the adults and children in our Beckys House Domestic Violence Programs. You can continue to help survivors and their children by donating here >>> https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/ywcasandiego

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AFFECTS EVERYONE. Join YWCA of San Diego County to speak out against abuse and walk a mile with your friends, family and colleagues in solidarity with domestic violence survivors.

Challenge your team to march the streets of downtown to raise awareness in a high-spirited way. To support inclusivity, please wear any shoes that symbolize the person you wish to honor. Everyone and every shoe is welcome!

Before you start walking, join us for opening ceremonies and a friendly competition of the best-looking shoes. Following the walk, gather your team and enjoy live entertainment, lunch, interactive games and more! Dogs are welcome too, but please be sure to pick up after them.

Event proceeds benefit survivors overcoming trauma and abuse in our Beckys House Domestic Violence Programs.

Please contact Allison Hall at 619.239.0355 x217 or ahall@ywcasandiego.org for questions or additional information.
