We are walking again this year in honor of Javier Vega, aka "Toto" (Xaviera's Dad) who has been battling this horrible disease since 2001. As this disease has progressed with him, he has become unable to walk and has become restricted to a bed at his home needing 24 hour care. However, he refuses to give up on this fight. While he may be unable to do most of the things he used to, he has made the choice to do what he can do from his bed. He has made his own support page using only his computer and his pupillary response to tell his story. Please click on the "The Team" above to view his personal page and incredible story.
We are also so happy to be a part of this wonderful event in memory of Gary's Father (Grampie) who lost his battle with ALS in 1995.
While other organizations are able to spend money on research, what we love about this organization is that all contributions go directly to families and their needs, making a rapid impact on their lives.
Thank you for supporting our team and the ALSGA organization.
Love & God Bless,
The Walker & Vega Families
