Walk for HOPE

Now more than ever, HOUSING is the foundation to keep our community safe, healthy, and HOPEful.

Join Housing Assistance supporters, volunteers, donors, and staff as we walk to raise awareness about the housing issues facing our region while raising funds to support our programs and services on Cape Cod & the Islands.

The Walk Is Going Virtual

We're excited to announce this year's event is going VIRTUAL on Saturday, June 27th!

Instead of walking in person, this year you'll be participating with us virtually from your own neighborhoods, from a home or gym treadmill, or from wherever you can walk safely.

During these trying times of social distancing, one thing we can all do to help maintain both mental and physical health is EXERCISE!

Ways to Get Involved

To get started, please review this entire 'Event Details' section. You can register as an individual or create/join a team!

Here are four different ways YOU can get involved:

Walker - Walkers are people who will walk in support of housing. Walkers pay a $25 registration fee. During checkout, we hope you will please consider making a one-time donation to support our mission.

Fundraiser - Don't want to walk, but still want to participate? No problem! Fundraisers are supporters who just want to raise funds for Housing Assistance by creating an online fundraising page or collecting donations offline using our Walk for HOPE Pledge Form (see details below).

Walker & Fundraiser - Walkers & Fundraisers are amazing supporters who will not only walk in support of housing but will also raise funds for Housing Assistance leading up to the event.

Sponsor - Sponsors support the work of Housing Assistance to help low-income families who live year-round on Cape to stay in their homes. Submit the Walk for HOPE Sponsor Form (Download PDF)!

Our fundraising team will be in touch with all of our registered fundraisers leading up to the event to see how your fundraising efforts are going and to thank you for your generous support!

Online Donations: Fundraisers are encouraged to use their individual or team online fundraising campaign to collect online donations.

Offline Donations: Fundraisers can track the offline donations they receive using the Walk for HOPE Pledge Form (Download PDF)

Fundraising Incentives: Check out our exciting Walk for HOPE Fundraiser Prizes (Download PDF)!

Where to Walk

Anywhere you like! Training can be completed in your yard, around your neighborhood, on your treadmill, on your favorite beach, on trails in your town you decide!

Here's the best part: You can sign up and get all your family and friends anywhere in the world to sign up too. Together, with every step you take, you will be making a difference in the lives of others!
