Today we sadly lost a legend and a furry companion for more than 16 years. With tears in our eyes and heavy hearts we say goodbye to the one and only. To say Weezie had a great run is an enormous understatement and embodies the terms resilient and adaptable. Lost most of his eye site around the age of 5 and his selective hearing around 10. He managed to find his way into things we could never have imagined and logged more first class Virgin America/Alaska frequent flier miles than most. He would occasionally fall in the pool and took a spill or two down a flight of stairs, but always found a way to bounce back. Weezie is survived by his mom and adopted dad and countless other friends and family. Some believed he would outlast all of us myself included. We will hold on to his lasting memories and are beyond grateful for the many many years he brought us so much joy. We appreciate everyone who stepped up when we needed to be away for a few days or even a few weeks and all the love he always received. He we will be missed, but not forgotten. We love you little man aka Fatboy:) Rest In Peace @weezieduzit
We have choosen to raise money for Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue (WAG Rescue). Wes' parents are very involved with this organization and they have recused 2 dogs, Weezie's cousins Alfie and Layla. Please consider making a small monetary donation in Weezie's name.
