We are witnessing a global health crisis of unprecedented proportions. COVID-19 has touched all of our lives and the Karat School Project is no exception.

We are asking children we once rescued from the street and forced labor to return home to respect social distancing guidelines. Unfortunately, many of these children do not have access to food, education, or running water to wash their hands as often as they should.

We are asking our teachers who are widows and single mothers to stay home with no guarantee of salaries to provide for their families.

We are kindly asking you, as you continue to support your local community, to help us provide for our teachers, students, and community.

Your contribution will directly impact 186 people by providing:

Teachers’ wage

Dried food

Hand sanitizers: with many not having running water at home this will save lives & flatten the curve

Soaps: To help wash hands, bodies, and clothes

Printed materials: For children to keep learning while they are home.

Help us navigate this new crisis.
