THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF INDIANA NEEDS YOUR HELP.
Fewer than 14% of registered voters cast ballots in Indiana’s 2016 election. This leaves us at the lowest end of voter participation. This is a crisis of democracy.
With less than 8 weeks to register to vote, the League of Women Voters in Indiana is working hard to register citizens and get them to the polls this November.
It’s crunch time and we need to reach 92 Counties to inform people about their voting rights and get them to the ballot box.
We need to help break through barriers to registering and voting. We are re-doubling our efforts to inform voters. We need to purchase informational brochures, bus signs, stickers, and even removable tattoos—whatever works. We need to organize transportation to the polls. We need to produce and distribute Public Service Announcements.
Help us by making sure that your family, friends, and neighbors are also registered and ready to vote. Then please donate to this effort and share this post.
