Will you help us to be there for the animals we love in these difficult times?
At this time of great worry and uncertainty for us all, we sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are in good health. While health and wellbeing are our first priorities, we must also consider the financial implications of the virus on our rescue. We’re anticipating a significant drop in donations. As an all-volunteer driven non-profit organization that depends solely on donations to feed and care for our animals, we’re deeply concerned about how this will affect the animals who depend on us.
That’s why we would like to ask you, if you would consider joining East of Eden Rescue on #GivingTuesdayNow, a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. This global pandemic has touched every aspect of our lives, and the challenges facing animals have never been greater. The wonderful thing about animals is their ability to provide us with joy and unconditional love – something that becomes even more valuable in times like these.
If you are fortunate enough to have a pet with you at home, please do give them an extra cuddle on behalf of all our volunteers at East of Eden Rescue. And if you can, it would be wonderful if you felt able to help us so we can be there for the animals that so desperately need our love and care. Money raised will go towards providing medical costs, food, crates, beds, toys for the dogs and cats in our care. Your support has never been more critical as we face the challenges of this pandemic and the uncertainties of the future.
With many thanks and very best wishes for the good health of you and your loved ones,
East of Eden K-9 Rescue
