The Sebastopol City Council has forced us to cancel the upcoming 4th of July fireworks sale, which is our biggest fundraising program of the year. This is a financial hit of approximately $17,000. By a 3-2 margin, this vote has made these much needed funds evaporate.
The situation is dire. All our other fundraisers have been cancelled due to Covid-19.
We are asking you to help, if you used to buy fireworks from our stand, by making a donation to our team.
There will be no impact on whether state-approved fireworks can be legally used in Sebastopol. Residents will still be able to drive to any of the surrounding communities that permit fireworks sales, purchase them, and return to Sebastopol to legally use them.
