Victim Rights Center of Connecticut helps crime victims rebuild shattered lives. We provide victim-centered, trauma informed legal services to victims of sexual assault, child abuse, violence against people identifying as LGBTQI, elder abuse, and homicide. Neither mom nor the police believe the report, and mom insists the child must visit overnight. Victim Rights Center goes to court to protect the child from being ordered to spend the night with the abuser. A sexual assault victim finds the courage to report her sexual assault, but fears she won't be believed. Victim Rights Center connects her to a victim-aware Detective, so she doesn't have to face all-too-common victim-blaming. These, and so many other clients, have been helped by Victim Rights Center lawyers, when no one else would listen.
