I have made another trip, around the sun and oh what a trip it has been. This year brought a Multiple sclerosis diagnosis and with it many changes to my life. I am doing well and the main reason for this is that I am following the Overcoming MS (OMS) program. The program consists of the following: diet, exercise, stress management, sunlight, vitamin D, Omega-3 supplementation, and, when needed, medication.
To celebrate my birthday and continuing good health I have set up a fundraiser to support OMS. They are a non-profit organization that accepts no financial or ‘in kind’ support from pharmaceutical or other 3rd party companies. OMS is only funded by individual donations and foundation donors.
The OMS Program helps people with MS live longer, better and healthier lives. Through a series of diet and lifestyle changes – all based on rigorous scientific research and evidence – they believe people with MS can make a dramatically positive impact on their quality of life.
