Penny is about one year old, she was rescued from Laie after she asked a jogger on her nightly run for help. She has a bad limp on her front right leg, which we assumed to be broken. A visit to the vet proved us wrong, her bones are thin and very weak. We don't know what the future holds for Penny, but we do know it will likely hold many vet visits, possible therapy, and braces. Penny wants so badly to run and play like other dogs, but right now it is too hard for her. Even though she can't play and is likely in pain she still is so happy to have been rescued and she loves to show it with tail wags, smiles, and cuddles. Any donation is appreciated and needed to give this sweet girl a chance at the full and happy life she deserves.
