Since starting this rescue 10 years ago with our original horse, Willie Bit O'Luck, we have seen many, many horses come and go, some to new homes, some to be trained for other work, and some over the Rainbow Bridge. We are now back down to our original two horses, Willie and Quinn. We have faced a lot of challenges in doing rescue work. We had a beautiful facility, only to be told to move so that it could be developed. We have been to four different locations in the past two years, lost several horses along the way and have accumulated a lot of bills from boarding to vet. In the move, we also have lost most of our volunteer base as well as our donors. We just lost Kiki but not the vet bills she had, including the final one.
So, if you know us, or just like what we are doing, maybe you could find a way to help us offset some of these costs. Quinn is on a daily med for her Cushings disease, Willie and Quinn (27 and 29 years old respectively) are on several supplements daily, as well as now having to pay board, feed, farrier. and whatever else may crop up. It gets tough for a retired couple to pay for on our own.
Thank you from Willie, Quinn, Greg and Toni.
