For the past 28 years the Verde Valley Alano Club (VVAC) has been host to various 12 Step and Recovery Programs that focus on a wide range of addictions. Our primary income is from group attendance in which all the proceeds go to keeping the doors open. VVAC provides a safe and clean environment for people to find refuge from addictions and an opportunity to change their lives.
2020 has presented some unprecedented challenges and hurdles. None the less, VVAC has continued to operate and provide a vital service to our local community. This translates to the REALITY that we are struggling to keep our doors open as we are NOW operating at a loss. The Pandemic has taken a huge toll on “in person” meeting attendance, contributions, and memberships threatening our daily operations.
This facility provides opportunities for people going through court mandated programs, rehabilitation and treatment centers, and service suffering individuals off the street who have no means to attend on- line meetings.
Many of our members will attest to their new beginnings, continued growth, opportunities for working with others who struggle with addictions and the support and Fellowship provided at the VVAC. There are countless miracles, opportunities and hope here, where before there were none.
Understanding not everyone personally suffers from Alcoholism and Addiction, it is safe to say the ripple effect touches all of our lives in some way.
Your contributions directly support the needs of the groups and individuals, helping to change their lives and recover from the seemingly hopeless grip of addiction, insanity and death.
The Verde Valley Alano Club wants to continue to operate on the front lines. Providing safety and hope to those searching for a pathway to live as a productive member of our society...Happy, Joyous and Free.
