Our Wheels Have Stopped Rolling, But Our Hearts Have Not!
Greetings Friends, Family and Colleagues:
We need your support! As many of you may know by now, My Friend's House Foundation suffered a loss recently. Our classic van was totaled and we are now in a rental.
Our goal is to raise $16,900 to purchase a van that accommodates our needs.
Our transportation is critical to our daily operations, and more importantly our weekly community outreach every Wednesday, (rain or shine, or pandemic), when we have to transport the food, clothing, shoes and self-care items that we make available to those experiencing homelessness in and around Skid Row.
Additionally, we are currently distributing 2,500 Covid care kits on behalf of the Mayor's Fund of Los Angeles. As you can imagine, it is an interesting journey using a family minivan to do so.
My Friend's House Foundation has been of service for 12 years and has served over 500,000 people in need.
Will you help us reach our goal?
Thank you in advance for your donation and support,
Please share and spread the word!
