We are so proud to have Valley Youth House in our state of Pennsylvania. They run 73 programs in 30 counties including Philadelphia, where we call home. Homelessness affects children of color and LGBTQ+ children disproportionately, so the impact of programs like this is not only a personal issue but a social justice issue. Beyond providing drop-in centers, shelters, and Host Homes for insecurely housed and homeless youth, they run programs like the Acheiving Independence Center for kids aging out of the foster care system. As a clinical intern, Adam participated in Youth Count, engaging youth living on the street to be anonymously counted so that our leaders can effectively understand the size of this problem. This is a hard time to do community based work, and your support will help this non profit weather the storm.
