Valhalla Tahoe brings the community together to enjoy history, art, music, theatre and other cultural events at one of Lake Tahoe’s most unique properties, the Heller Estate. In partnership with the United States Forest Service, Valhalla Tahoe hosts tours, cultural events and private events throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Valhalla Boathouse Theatre is a unique cultural resource in the Tahoe basin. Visitors are treated to a view of the lake behind the performers through floor to ceiling windows. The interior, preserved with exposed beams from the original building, creates an experience unrivaled in performing arts venues.
Valhalla hosts a Summer Concerts Series every summer, monthly Improv shows, a Play the first two weekends in July and the annual WordWave one-act play competition in September. The annual Holiday Faire the weekend before Thanksgiving is a family tradition for many. Valhalla Tahoe’s non-profit mission is to help preserve the property while providing a place for people to celebrate, learn and enjoy Tahoe’s unique beauty, history and culture. Please join us in this effort to continue to restore The Heller Estate by Volunteering, Becoming a Member or Donating Funds. We need the whole community to help preserve this cultural icon for another 40 years!
