Hey, we're Valarie and Danny, welcome to our page! You've made it this far so that means you want to know a little more about why we invited you to take a peek at what we're up to.
Valarie here, my really great friend runs AGE Africa, a small but mighty nonprofit organization that provides scholarship support, school supplies, and after school clubs for high school girls in Malawi. To help fund the program, AGE Africa's Board of Director's participates in atheltic events such as triathlons, and 10K races all in support for girls education. This year, I'm joining AGE Africa's Board of Directors and bringing Danny along while we bike for 15-58 miles through Washington, DC all in support of AGE Africa's Ride for Malawi on September 7th.
The girls AGE Africa supports come from rural parts of Malawi and many will travel 10K in one day to attend school. Check out the video on our page and learn about the difference a scholarship made in the life of a girl like Diana.
For $50 AGE Africa can buy a girl school uniforms and school supplies for the school year. That's the equivalent of a dinner and drink for most of us, except you can add this $50 to your heart and ask for a tax write off at the end of the year.
We hope you will consider making a gift of any amount to help girls in Malawi. It would mean a lot to the two of us knowing our friends and family support causes like AGE Africa.
