Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance, and for medically complex children like Jake, that can be a death sentence.
Jake is a precious 4-year-old child who lives in Leyte, Phillipines. His mother abandoned the family after he was born. His father, Jacob, had to leave his job as a janitor to care for Jake. He is helped by Jake's grandmother.
Jake has had this condition since birth, but the size of the growth has continued to increase. He is bedridden.
There is no neurosurgeon in Jake's hometown, so Maya's Hope has arranged for Jake and Jacob to travel to Manila. If all goes well with pre-op, Jake will be operated on this Saturday. The total cost to Maya's Hope is $5,000. $5,000 to save the life of a precious 4-year-old and relieve the burden of his devoted father.
Please consider helping us pay for this life-saving and life-changing procedure.
