The Board of Directors of the Irish American Heritage Center hopes that you and your family are healthy and safe in the face of this pandemic. To support efforts to help stop the further spread of COVID-19, the IAHC closed its doors on March 16th and will remain closed until it is safe for our members, staff, volunteers, and partners to return to our building.
With our business halted, St. Patrick’s holiday celebrations cancelled, and our future events on hold for now, the Irish American Heritage Center is in need. Even though our building is closed, fixed expenses remain.
In order to maintain basic functions into an unknown future, we need to raise at least $100,000. This need is critical and immediate, and we are reaching out to you as part of our community for your help.
Any contribution you make will have a direct impact on our effort to keep the mission of the IAHC alive.
Although our building is silent, our commitment to Irish culture and entertainment will never be. Go to irish-american.org or our social media pages to see the content we have been sharing. Our partners and members look to the IAHC to showcase Irish culture and programming, so we’ll continue to bring you the best in Irish music, webinar opportunities, and news and information about what we’re doing.
While the coronavirus pandemic presents many complicated challenges, we are confident in the resiliency of our Irish American Heritage Center, staff, volunteers, members, partners, and friends, and know that our shared commitment to each other will ensure that we pull through this crisis together. We are tremendously grateful for your continued care and support, and for the many ways you show your dedication to our Center and our shared Irish culture.
Until we meet again...
