When you join UNICEF Next Generation (NextGen), you learn about children’s rights and urgent issues that are affecting children around the globe. NextGen members take this knowledge and commit time, resources and enthusiasm to activate their networks and support UNICEF’s work worldwide.
Who We Are
We’re a diverse group of emerging leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators in our twenties and thirties. We’re from more than 25 states and counting, but we care about children everywhere.
What We Do
NextGen members have the unique opportunity to connect with others who care about children and global development. As a NextGen member you:
● Network with your global peers through our global NextGen community
● Meet and speak with inspiring UNICEF staff
● Participate in speaker series, film screenings, member mixers, UNICEF USA’s annual summit and other flagship events
● Host your own events and activities using your unique skills and expertise and engage your networks around UNICEF’s work
Since Casey Rotter and Jenna Bush Hager founded NextGen in 2009, NextGen has raised close to $15M million in support of more than
19 UNICEF projects around the globe, including projects that work to address violence in Jamaica, nutrition in Guatemala and neonatal care in Pakistan.
Each NextGen project has a dual funding component: Half of our fundraising and awareness efforts will support UNICEF’s most critical issue and the other half will support our current NextGen selected project.
