For the month of May, the theme that Unicef champions is Kid Power. Kid Power encourages kids to save lives and generate change in their communities in an effort to end severe acute malnutrition. The design of Kid Power is to teach children how their everday activity, whether in school, at home, or in their communities, can be connected to real-world impact, teaching them vital skill sets such as communication, problem solving, empathy, and how to become active global citizens. Various challenges within the Unicef Kid Power app encourages children to get active, with the incentive of the more active you are, the more points you earn, unlocking food that Unicef delivers to children. Over 16 million children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition. Kid Power has unlocked over 11 million packets of ready to use theraputic food. By donating to our high school Unicef Club's cause, your donation will aid Unicef in delivering theraputic food to children in need around the world, helping alleviate this life threatening issue. On behalf of our club, we thank you for taking the time to read our campaign, learn about our cause, and for your support. Every donation counts. Thank you!
