We have received a generous offer from some very committed supporters: a $16,000 matching grant.
Please help us achieve our goal of matching this grant so that we can use the entire $32,000 to further our mission to deliver hope and healing to more people who are ready to transform their lives.
To date, UnCommon Law has seen more than 200 clients released, and has impacted the 35,000 people currently serving life with the possibility of parole through its Class Action settlement in Johnson v. Shaffer, which protects people from the misuse of psychological evaluations in parole hearings.
Samuel Johnson, Sr., the named plaintiff in the case is now home and serves on the Board of UnCommon Law. He is also working as a Community Navigator at Impact Justice, supporting others in their transition home.
We are working to support more stories like Sam's. More stories of people coming home and leading others along the path of parole success. Join us!
