Help support Un-Scripted Theater Company® during this time of need.
Since the unexpected shock of the COVID-19 shutdown, we've worked tirelessly to make ends meet, including applying for numerous grants and negotiating to remain in our Sutter Street home. And we're making progress! We've secured a 75% reduction in our rent for April, May and June. Unfortunately, reducing expenses is only half the battle. Our theater's closure has eliminated our ability to generate revenue from tickets, concessions, classes, or rentals. We can't host the beloved West Coast Musical Improv Festival in July, which has been one of our biggest income drivers since its founding four years ago.
The bad news: We need to act fast to keep our beloved theater open. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to make ends meet and survive the shutdown.
The good news: We reached our baseline and are making a new goal of $12,000 so we can hit the ground running when our theater opens up again.
**Mask Orders** Initially, we pledged to sell masks for the first $6,000. Now that we've reached our goal we are no longer providing masks.
We've been uploading our back catalog of amazing shows to our YouTube channel so you can stay in touch — and stay entertained — while staying safe at home. We're also working on new and innovative online performances, so stay tuned!
