Every woman should have the opportunity to live her best life.
Unfortunately, too many women lack access to the quality medical care and services that allow them to properly manage their health, receive necessary treatments, and find daily wellness.
In countries all over the globe, women must cope with illnesses, disorders, and ailments that can and should be prevented. We can — and must — do better for women everywhere.
The University of Michigan Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital and Michigan Medicine are committed to improving the health of women locally and globally. Through the newly establish Women’s Health Innovation Fund, we are pursuing groundbreaking research and discoveries that can lead to better care, improved treatments, and more positive results for countless women and families. This fund was inspired by our Women’s Health Leadership Board at Michigan Medicine, the first women’s health board at the University, which was established in December 2018.
The Women’s Health Innovation Fund supports physicians and researchers who are in the early stages of launching important scientific research by seeking out promising research in women’s health and providing the critical support needed to move concepts forward.
Research and innovation are essential to enhancing medicine that can improve the care available to women and we need your help to make it possible.
Thanks to the generous donation from Karen MacDonald-Basile and Ralph Basile, every dollar donated to the Women’s Health Innovation Fund will be matched up to $10,000.
Your donation to the Women’s Health Innovation Fund will make sure that the brightest ideas and most promising concepts have every opportunity to develop and make a difference in women’s health.
Help U-M physicians and researchers to take on challenges in women’s health whose research could soon provide women and families with clearer answers, more hope, and brighter futures.
