Since 1997, the National Pancreas Foundation (The NPF) has existed to guide patients, their families and their caregivers through the difficulties of a pancreatic disease diagnosis by offering practical advice at a stressful time. Through referral to physicians and clinical trials, education events for patients and families, and information distributed through printed literature, our website and social media, the NPF offers care and support. Most of all, we offer hope, both for a cure and for the courage to “live in the moment”.
The National Pancreas Foundation provides hope for those suffering from pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer through funding cutting edge research, advocating for new and better therapies, and providing support and education for patients, caregivers, and health care professionals.
Strike Out Pancreatic Disease
Strike Out Pancreatic Disease - There’s No Time to Spare! is our signature fundraising activity for our chapters and grassroots volunteers and are designed to raise much needed funds for our research, education and support programs as well as to also raise awareness of pancreatic diseases in wider society. It provides a fun family-friend opportunity for people to engage with the National Pancreas Foundation while supporting our efforts to find new and better therapies.
We encourage people to sign up in teams or individual bowlers. Registration fees range from $30 - $40 per person depending on the location and other associated costs for the event. For this, they get food and beverage, shoes and 2 hours of bowling.
We also encourage the event organizers/leads as well as team captains to secure additional revenue through sponsors for the event and/or bowlers.
