As the University of Michigan Medical School Class of 2020 prepares to take the next step in our medical careers, we want to leave a lasting legacy that supports the efforts and passions of U-M medical students, and benefits members of our community.
We are seeking to grow our class gift, which supports the Wolverine Street Medicine program, and we are inviting you to join us.
A couple of days each week, medical students — under the supervision of registered physicians and nurse practitioners — head to Detroit to provide care for those in vulnerable situations. The group also sees patients at clinics in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.
Our class is committed to raising $8,000 for Wolverine Street Medicine. We hope that you will consider making a gift to this incredible program that is committed to improving the lives of people in need.
Your contribution will provide the resources and support the Wolverine Street Medicine program needs to improve the health of the homeless community, educate medical students on best practices in caring for homeless persons, and raise awareness of health challenges associated with homelessness.
This year, we are also hosting a friendly competition between the four houses in our Medical School’s M-Home community. Each house is challenged to raise the most money for this wonderful cause.
When making your gift, be sure to use the dropdown menu to select the house (Fitzbutler, Hamilton, Salk, or Sanford) that you are supporting.
The Class of 2020 thanks you for your consideration, support, and dedication to making a difference in our community!
