My name is Jen Bolanos and I couldn't be more honored or excited to be running the Boston Marathon in 2020 as a member of the UMASS Medical Cellucci Fund team raising money for ALS research. A good friend of mine lost her husband to ALS almost ten years ago. She is the mom to four wonderful children and one of the strongest people I know. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with other efforts to raise money for ALS research including 5 K walks with the Angel Fund and the Ice Bucket Challenge. I have also attended Galas in the past and have heard first hand about the progress being made to find a cure for ALS through the research being done by Dr. Brown and his medical team. I am hoping to raise $10,000 so progess continues to be made in finding a cure for ALS . Your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
The goal of the UMass ALS Cellucci Fund is to create a $10 million endowment to seed the boldest research ideas in the interdisiplinary labs under the direction of Robert H. Brown Jr., DPhil, MD, one of the world's foremost authorities on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
