University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital has been committed to improving the health and well-being of children in the state and surrounding region for nearly 90 years. Today, UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital is a nationally recognized pediatric center of excellence, providing comprehensive health-care services for children of all ages. As part of an academic medical center, UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital also performs ground breaking research to help solve the mysteries of childhood diseases, in addition to training the next generation of health-care professionals.
Proceeds from Ride the Big Rove for Charity fundraiser will be used for the most urgent needs at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Though the needs are always changing, private support has allowed UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital to offer programs and amenities that enhance the emotional well-being of patients and their families, purchase advanced medical technology that can more easily diagnose or treat childhood conditions, and seek more knowledge about childhood disorders through medical research.
Please note: Donations made through Crowdrise will be directed to the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and then forwarded to the UI Center for Advancement on behalf of the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital.
