U-VOL Foundation Inc is a 5013c non-profit organization dedicated to help serve the unmet healthcare and wellness needs of underprivileged societies through health education, health screening and medical outreach initiatives.
Thankfully because of your help, our first medical mission to Benue State, Nigeria in 2016 was a massive success and our medical team was able to treat over 700 people! This year, our team of medical and non-medical volunteers is gearing up for our second overseas outreach mission in South Africa.
Our mission on this outreach is to provide FREE:
-Health education on hygiene
-Hygiene and toiletry kits
-Primary healthcare screening services and basic medical treatment
-Prenatal care
-Spiritual/emotional support and counseling
TARGET: Approximately 700 women and children living in transitional housing, shelters, and orphanages, in rural slums and impovershed areas.
The residents of these impoverished areas, lack the resources and access to basic quality healthcare and as result suffer and even die from a variety of preventable dieases and/or untreated illnesses such as diarrhea, respiratory infections, waterbourne diseases, typhoid, a variety infections caused from wounds as well as complications from HIV, Hepatitis and Malaria to name a few.

**The donations will NOT be paying for our volunteers to attend this trip or for accomodations. ALL donations will strictly benefit the women and children we will be caring for.
