Ozone House is a local nonprofit offering safety and support to young people.
It is estimated that Washtenaw County has about 1300 youth experiencing homelessness. This can be due to a variety of reasons – from their own or a family member’s mental illness, financial hardship, issues at school, abuse, or other family distress.
Since 1969, Ozone House has actively offered housing and services to youth and families in need. Ozone House offers a 24 hour crisis line, emergency shelter, family therapy, transitional housing, and more. Through these support services, we can help youth develop essential life skills, improve their relationships, and enhance their self-image so that they may realize their full potential for growth and happiness.
