To Our Family, Friends, and Colleagues-
On behalf of the Eichelberger brothers, Dave & Drew, we would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Our goal is to increase awareness of Parkinson's Disease and Parkinsonism, raise funds for the Parkinson's Foundation, and to support our brother-in-law Steve Tusing with his battle. In August of 2018 at the age of 63 and after several years of living thru the symptoms but not knowing the cause Steve was diagnosed with Parkinsonism. Parkinsonism is a disease that occurs when a person has symptoms and brain dysfunction commonly associated with Parkinson's disease but also has other symptoms related to an additional condition or cause.
Parkinsonism is a general term that refers to a group of neurological disorders that cause movement problems similar to those seen in Parkinson’s disease such as tremors, slow movement and stiffness. Under the category of Parkinsonism there are a number of disorders, some of which have yet to be clearly defined. In support of Steve, we two "old guys" will be participating in the 2019 Gasparilla Distance Classic on February 23-24 in Tampa, FL and running the Michelob Ultra Challenge. This Challenge consists of a 15K & 5K on Saturday and a Half Marathon & 8K on Sunday for a total of 30.4 miles over the two days. There are still spots open in all four races so if you would like to join our team and run or walk check out their website. Or just come out and cheer... cheer for Steve and cheer for a better life for those living with Parkinson's Disease and Parkinsonism!
Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
