I am excited to announce my MARATHON DEBUT with the Tufts Marathon Team (TMT)!! On April 20, 2020 I will join a team of 50 runners affiliated with Tufts University on the infamous 26.2 mile course in my home city of Boston.
As a charity runner, I run for the future of nutrition research. All TMT donations go to the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. This cause is especially important to me as a graduate student in the Friedman School's Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition program, where I am studying the complex role of diet in maintainance of health and prevention of disease from a molecular, nutrient-based perspective.
Running has had an enormous impact on my life for the past 10 years, connecting me to new places and introduing me to friends across the world. The TMT running community is full of welcoming, supportive, dedicated individuals who make those long runs fly by.
I'm still in shock that I am lucky enough to run the 2020 Boston Marathon for a cause so close to my heart.
Friends, family, and fellow runners--please consider helping me reach my fundraising goal. SEE YOU ON RACE DAY!!
