We believe all people should have access to the forgiveness and love of the resurrected Christ, no matter what the circumstance of life. You never know when you will find yourself unable to physically attend worship. It may be an extended illness, a trip to the ICU, or an annual family vacation. Whatever the case may be, we want the forgiveness and love of Christ at your fingertips.
The Gospel Tech Project is an effort to better equip Trinity Lutheran with the ability to share the forgiveness and love of Christ with those who attend worship and those who are connected online around the country and world.
Over many years, conversations have come and gone regarding necessary upgrades to AV equipment in the worship space. With failing cameras and display screens, our video has become a distraction from the gospel message rather than a tool to advance the gospel message. Finally, the local television station previously broadcasting our worship services no longer provides a public broadcast station. This has left us asking the question, what resource is God leading us to use to advance the gospel beyond our walls.
We have come to a point where this conversation has taken a positive turn with some very generous support. An anonymous donor has offered a $10,000 matching donation toward technology upgrades that will better equip us to advance the gospel. So, the time is right to invite others into this opportunity.
Thus begins, the Gospel Tech Project.
Our goal is to raise $40,000 dollars. These funds will go toward the purchase and installation of new cameras, new display screens, a new projector, live streaming equipment, and several other cable and equipment upgrades. In other words, these funds will enable us to share the forgiveness and love of Christ with the rest of our city, nation, and world!
Thank you for your partnership!
